MISS ANDREWS ON TOUR. Miss Andrews has visited centres in Auckland and in every place has been erected by good audiences eager to bea of this Convention to he held in Wellington in 1040 and to which will gather women from all Pacific centres, lapanese, Chinese. Australian. American and the isles of the sea*. Man ruled countries may war with each other, hut <iecp in the hearts of their women i* the desire for peace and unity. And in these Conferences women are working and praying educating themselves and others to know that the welfare of each land can onlv be secured bv tbe welfare of all. Miss Andrews writes: “Tlmre have been good audiences everywhere—a hundred in Tc Kniti, also in Whangarei. and more in Auckland- and everywhere there has seemed to ?> • keen interest and willingness to help in anv way possible (and also-- what is more unusual—eagerness to study in preparation tor 1040).“ During this month Miss Andrews will visit Ashburton on Julv 10th; Tiniaru. 20th; Waimate, 21st; Oamam, 22nd; Dunedin, 23rd; Balchitha, 2(»th; Gore and Liiiusdeu, 27th ; Invercargill. 28th; Kurow. 29th: Ctilvcrdcn, August Ist We urge all White Ribboners to meet Miss Andrews at her meetings The W.C.T.IV is affiliated with the Pan Pacific Women’s Association and h:>s renresentatives on its committee. We join with them in the campaign to educate the women of the Pacific in how to secure world peace, and with them pray that the reign of the Prnce of Ptace may speedily come to this w; 1 worn and war weary planet
