BIRTHDAY PARTY.
Sydenham's 14th birthday was held in the Baptist Schoolroom recently. Mrs. Archer presided. Several Unions were represented and greetings were given, also from kindred Societies and local ministers by Rev. Rogers. Musical and elocutionary items were given by Mes< lames Filer, Weatherbead, Storie, Woodward, Miss Buckneli, and Messrs. Ellison and McCaffery. Supper followed, and Foundation memliers cut the two-tiered cake. A play entitled "World Without Men" was given by Shirley Methodist Guild members.
