He was athirst as man. and yet He says, “Let him that is athirst come unto Me and drink." He was weary and yet He is our rest. He pays tribute and yet He is a king. He is called a devil and casts out devil*. He prays and yet He hears prayers. He weeps and dries our tears. He is sold for 30 pieces of silver and redeems the world. He is led as a sheep to the slaughter and is the flood Sheppard. He is mute liko a sheep, and yet He is the Everlasting Word. He is a man of sorrows, but He heals our pains. He if nailed to the tiee and dies upon it. and by the tree restores us to lib He has vinegar to drink and changes the water into wine.

He lays down His life and takes it up again. He dies and gives life, and by dying destroys death. (Iregory of Nat/an/.us Until Christ bo formed in you.- (lul. \iv. 19. Oh. Jesus Christ, grow Thou in me And all things else recede, My heart tie daily nearer Thee, From sin he daily freed, Each day let Thy supporting might My weakness still embrace. My darkness banish in Thy light. Thy life my death efface. In Thy bright lieams which on me fall Fade every evil thought That I am nothing. Thou art all, 1 would ho daily taught, More of Thy glory let me see Thou Holy, Wise and True. I would Thy living image be In joyful sorrow too. Fill me with gladness from above. Hold me by strength divine. Lord, let the glow of Thy great love Through my whole tndng shine. Make this poor self grow less and less. He thou my life and aim. Oh! make me daily, through Thy grace. More meet to hear Thy name.
