April 9. Mrs. Kasper presided. b"< members present. Letters of sympathy to sick members and those bereaved. Decided to have a Jumble Salt and Fan in July. An excellent rei*>rt of tlu* Dominion Convention was gixen by Mrs. Kasper, who also spoke of the r> solu lions passed. The Temperance fact was written oa a blackboard as follows: "A piece of bread weighing one and one fifth ounces, and costing less than half a farthing, has more nourishment than a bottle of stout.’’ Dr. Salter. Heeded to have Jumble Sale for funds in July Peace Day observed on May 30th with good speaker, and a stall to be in charge of WC.T.I’, workers at the Winter Show. Arrangements made to continue School Temperance Clubs under the sup eivision of Mrs. Singleton.
