IN MEMORIAM.
B\ the passing of Mrs. Pomfret on May 7th. the Wairoa Branch of the W.C.T.U. lost one of its most devoted menilxrs. Her splendid loyalty and keen interest in all branches of the work was an inspiration to all. She was ope of the first members and held the office of President for one ye;,;, and was a Vic**-President at the time of her death. Manx will miss her bright and happy personality. She was a patient of the hospital for ih** last three months and endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact. Her suffering was patiently endured, and she inspire*! others with hope and courage. \ prominent worker in Church and Sunday School ami Band of Hope, and active in every branch of social work, she will be much missed. Our hearts go out to her sister, husband, son and (laughter In their loss of one so beloved.
