EVANGELISTIC.
A CALL TO PRAYER. , April.—Prayer Encouraged. Reading. Psalms 20; 67. “Everyone that asks receives —good things” (Matt. 7:11). “God’s Word assures us that prayer is not an impotent, empty ceremony, but a vital link with Him Who holds the universe in His hands. Behind us is that power that can subdue floods and melt mountains, whether they be physical or spiritual: and just as it is possible for the electric light globe to give forth strong light when it maintains close contact with the current of electricity, so it is possible for us to maintain prayer power when we are in close contact with God. His prayer promises can never be exhausted, and it is for as to see that we keep in close contact with the Divine Dynamic that power may show through us to our associates and to tho wider fields of spiritual service which need our help.” Prayer Topics. 1. Thanksgiving and Praise. 2. The Forward Movement. 3. Our Yeung People's Work. 4. Our leaders. 5. The Coming Poll.
