GARDEN PARTY.
Over fifty children on the Cradle Roll of the Tinwald Union attended the annual Garden Party at the residence of Mrs. Clark (the Superintendent) in February. There was also a large attendanceof parents and friends, who spent a most enjoyable day in the beautiful grounds. A Christmas Tree was the centre attraction, and from it Father Xmas, who had been delayed by the recent bad weather, distributed the toys to all the young people, and also sweets and a bountiful afternoon tea. Following games and lots of fun, an interesting address was given by Mrs. Adjutant Huston, first to the children and afterwards to the adults, which resulted in several ladies joining the Union. Mrs. Robinson thanked the speaker, and also Mr, and Mrs. Clark for the enjoyable afternoon spent in their grounds. ,
