SOME ONE HAD PRAYED.
The weary ones had rest, the sad hat joy That day; I wondered “how!’’ A ploughman, singing at his worl liad prayed “Lord, help them now!” Away in the foreign lands thej wondered “how” Their single word had power! At home the Christians, two or three hail met, To pray an hour! Yes, we are always wondering, wondering “how,” Because we do not see Some one, unknown perhaps and far away. On bended knee! —“Selected.”
