NELSON. Dec. 15. Officers were elected for 1927: President, Miss K. Moycs, Grove Street (reelected); Vice-President, Miss M. Cook, 60 Nile Street, Kant; Secretary, Miss D. Shields, Klimtt Street; Treasurer, Miss 1’ Eaves, c/o. Metropolitan Hotel. NEW BRIGHTON. Attendance very good, annual meeting; Mrs F. Mitchell presiding. The Secretary’s report was adopted. This showed that the membership had increased by 17 during the year. The Treasurer’s report showing a credit balance was adopted. The sum of £1 Is. was donated to the Trustees of the Methodist Church for the use of the Schoolroom. The election of officers for the ensuing year was as follows:—President, Mrs F. M. Mitchell; Vice-Presidents. Revs. J. 8. Young and R Kaine, and Miss M Liglitbody and Mr li. Buxton;Becretary, Miss M. Moses; Treasurer, Miss E. Langley; Press Reporter, Mrs Mitchell, (lames were played and supper served, the meeting closing with the singing of Auld Lang Syne. HAMILTON. F>ec. Eight members present. The President presided. Mrs Junes. President of the W.I’T.U., gave a snort talk on Social Problems, and Miss Watson gave a “Model Addresjf’ suitable for Hand of Hope children, and the meeting responded with some helpful advice and criticism. We hope to increase our membership and have wider activities when we recommence work next year.
