TO THE BRANCHES OF THE W.U.T.U. IN SOUTHLAND.
Through the medium of the White Ribbon, the Southland Distiict Union Executive sends hearty New Year greetings to every Union in Southland. At the commencement of 1927, which has opened so auspiciously—the land flooded with sunshine and the fields fresh and smiling, giving promise of plenty—let us. with grateful hearts, resolve to work more fervently for the abolition of the liquor traffic which is such a blot on our fair and beloved Dominion. “You must live each day at your very best, The w'ork of the world is done by few, God asks that a part be done by you.”
