DISTRICT EXECUTIVES.
S. CANTERBURY. Aug. 9th. Mrr. Boag presided and opened the meeting with prayer. 10 Delegates and Officers present. A very exhaustive report of the Alliance Convention was received and Mrs Boag touched on some of chief points. Circuler letters re-
ceived from Mrs Judson. Several Members spoke on the splendid article on the League of Nations appearing in the School Journal Director of Education to be thanked. All Branches had been working on behalf of Bible in Schools League. Mrs Boag reported on her visit to Geraldine and Temuka. Reported a “Y” Branch was being formed at Pleasant Point and there were hopes of Methven Branch being revived. Sec reported cards had been sent out on behalf of Membership Campaign. Instead of a paper each member spoke on some special phase of the work in her own Branch and many helpful hints received. Decided to semi a wire to Prime Minister, urging the immediate introduction of Licensing Bill.
