Dear White Ribbon Sisters. The Convention is definitely fixed for March 25th, and it is fairly certain that at any rate our Corresponding Secretary. Miss Henderson, will

be back in plenty of time for it. The latest news from her i 3 that she expected to leave Colombo on the 7th of February, and to reach New r Zealand about the 6th or 7th of March. We shall aii look forward eagerly to welcoming her back, and one evening will be set apart for her to tell us some of her experiences, and the conclusions she has formed at first hand of the success or otherwise of Prohibition in America. Of Mrs Don’s movements we cannot speak with certainty, beyond that she hopes to be in New Zealand about the last w’eek in March. So we shall hope to see her and w’elcome her before we disperse from Dunedin, but whether she will be able to take any part in the Convention remains to be seen.

Once more may I urge Unions to lose no time in sending in names and status of delegates, when appointed, applications for proxies and similar details. See that the information is forwarded to me, so that the Roll call can be fairly complete ready for the opening session. May I remind Unions that require proxies, that it is necessary to send in to me a sealed envelope, containing instructions for voting on the notices of motion, and for the Now’ Zealand Officers, and marked on the outside “Proxy for Union.” Attention is drawn also to an advertisement from the Dunedin Union, giving tin* name and address of the Convenor of the Hospitality Committee. Hoping for the very best Convention that has vet been held in New Zealand. . am. dear Sisters, Yours in W.R. bonds, KATE M. EVANS, Rec. Sec. Address: 205 Clyde Street. Island Bay, Wellington.
