“WHITE RIBBON” DRIVE.

Our Unions are gettiig to work ot “White Ribbon” drive. The results from Convention to June 30th we print below July, so far, gives promise o( rich harvest, and shows that many Unions are making an effort.

During the period to June 30, only .'»7 Unions have sent in new subs., and the number of subs, sent is 208. This shows that only the few* are in earnest Auckland District (65 new subs.), 14 Unions, have done nothing. Wark worth, with 16 new subs., and One hunga, with 12, are the highest. Waikato: 5 new subs., 3 Unions de faulted, highest Morrinsville 3. Taranaki: 5 new subs.; 9 defaulting Unions; Wanganui and New Plymouth each 2. Hawke’s Bay: 2 new subs.; 5 de faulters; highest, Hastings and Waipawa, 1 each. Wellington: 32 new subs.; 7 defaulters; Feilding, 9. Nelson Idstrict: Not one new sub. since Convention. N.
