MAORI DEPARTMENT. To All I iiions.—lmportant. lam pleased to report that at last a Maori Organiser, and om* most highly recommended to us, is in the field, Mrs Pornumati, from Rotorua, having started work for us this month. Will all Onions desiring a visit from her please at once communicate with me, so that her plan of work and travel may be completed. Also let me know what hospitality is provided for her in their district. I would also strongly appeal to all Pnions to make a big effort to supply the needed funds. The thanks of this Department are due to the following for money received this year:Ponsonby, £1; Mrs Whincop, Greytown (collected*). £1; Wanganui, £1; Carterton. £1 Is; Wellington Central, £1; Wanganui East, 16s; Oamaru, 10s 3A<i; Feeding, £1; Hastings, £1; Oreytown, £2 4s Mrs Pornumati is on earnest Christian and Temperance worker, and has worked in our cause for over 30 years, anil with nearly all denominations, and we are fortunate in having secured her services. It is most important that this department should not suffer for lack of funds, therefore 1 make a strong appeal to all our members and Pnions to .‘.import it in this way.
