The palm for brevity should Ik> awarded to a marine who testified about the explosion of a gun on a war vessel. The marine testified at a hearing after lie had passed some months in the hospital being patched up after the accident. "Please give your version of the explosion," he was asked. "Well," he replied. "I was standing beside the gun. there was an awful racket, and the doclor said. ‘Sit up and take this.”’
