A glance at Uu returns shows that the No-License Party had a very large majority of the eh-ctors with them. As a matter of fact, the votes east for NoLicense showed a majority almost equal to the total poll of the No-Change voters. The result of the polls throughout Shetland show the following reduction of licenses: Lerwick 17, Unst 3, Tingwell, etc., 5, Sandsting and Aithsting 2 —total 27. The following parishes have remained “wet," the licenses in these parishes are not dealt with. Northmavine 3, Yell 3, Pelting 3 total 9. Oat of a b»tal of 36 licenses only 9 left, as the bar licenses connected with inns and hotels will all be closed. The next election In the County ol Shetland of the licenses will take place five years hence.
