Dear Comrades, -You will have read in the minute- of the Annual Convention (page 0, “White Ribbon”> the following:— ‘That the 24th of May be observed by members of the Unions throughout New Zealand as a day on which prayers for peace and guidance in regard to the present war be offered up. Should the Unions be unable to meet on that date, that one day during that week be used for the observance, the 24th (Empire Day) being commemorated by individual members ” This proposal was carried.
