Perhaps it is not the easiest port in New Zealand to reach, but

the U.S.S. Company’s boat leaves Napier tor Gisborne every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, upon the arrival of the mail train from Wellington. Southern delegates can leave Lyttelton by Monday night's boat, catch the Napier express leaving Wellington at y. 10 a.in. on Tuesday. 'This connects with the Takapuna, leaving Napier on Tuesday evening, and enables delegates to reac h Gisborne on Wednesday morning. Gisborne, like Nelson, our last Convention city, has not very ready means of transit from one part of the city to the other, and it would be well if delegates who are bad walkers mentioned the fact when writing to Gisborne Secretary for hospitality.

Dear Sisters, —1 shall be glad if the Unions who have lost members by death during the past year would, without delay, send me their names, and, if possible, a brief outline of their special work while associated with us, that it may be inserted in the annual obituary notices. \\ ith New Year Greetings to all.— I am, etc., R. DON, Ac tmy N.Z. I'm sident. 54, Canongate, Dunedin.

AYi 11 all N.Z. Superintendents of Departments forward their reports to the Editor by January 31st, that they may be printed in time for Convention ?
