Bible in Schools Sunday (Dec. 8).
Dec. Nth has been fixed upon by the Dresbyterian General Assembly to be observed as Bible in State Schools Sunday, and it is directed that all appeal for financial help be made for that day.
The lead thus given has l>een followed by the Bishops of Wellington and Nelson, and by the Dean ol t hristclmrch, Administrator of tinDiocese.
The Dresident of the Methodist Conference writes asking that all their Churches, too, fall into line with tin arrangements, a retiring collection being suggested as the most convenient way of rendering financial help.
Bv the time these words are read, tile special date will have passed, but the Executive of each local W.C.T.U. m New Zealand is desired to be on the alert, that the subject may not be overlooked in each district, even if the exact date of the Bible in State Schools Sunday mav not have lieen observed.
