Dear Sis ikns, I find “Franchise hay” (September 19th is drawing near, and lake this opportunity of reminding oil Pnions to observe this day. It is desirable, if possible, to have addresses given or papers written bearing on “ Franchise hay”—“ How we Won the Franchise,” ,‘Are we Making the Best Use of the Franchise?” “Is the Franchise a Success?” &c\, &c. Desides this it is absolutely imperative that an offering be taken up for the New Zealand Fund. We noticed in White ltmnox our New Zealand Treasurer is calling our attention to the need of more generous supjK>rt being given to this important hepartinent.
