Official Correspondence.

Dear White Ribbon Sisters, At last Convention, it was decided to present a banner to the Union gaining the greatest proportionate increase of membership during this year. The Union which wins this banner will have to do two things : Ist. It will have to make a systematic and energetic canvass for new members. 2nd. To be careful to see that every member pays her subscription before December 31st.

We are very anxious that every Union should try hard to carry off this prize. Seven new Unions have been organised since Convention, and if we all do our best to increase the membership, we shall easily reach over 3000 by the end of the year.

We specially urge all Unions to see that subscriptions are collected when due. In large branches, where the Treasurer cannot do the work, collectors should be appointed. No one whose fee is unpaid on Dec. 31st can he counted as a member. Hoping to see a fine and close contest for the banner, Yours in W.R. bonds, Nellie Peryman, N.Z. Corresponding Sec.
