A SCIENTIST'S APPRECIATION.

The well-known scientist, Dr. Sternum Hooker, author of “The Higher Medicine,” has written the accompanying appreciation of “ The Cosinie Procession, which was reviewed in our columns some months since : “ After a careful perusal and rvperu.Mil of Mrs Frances Swiney’s aide hook. “ The Cosmic Procession,’* there is insistently borne in upon me the idea that the facts with which the hook deals have been marshalled with a masterly acumen, and that on the whole the arguments which are adduced in support ot the writer’s statements are unanswerable —that is the reason, perhaps. That the Feminine Principle in life will become more and more operative, because more and more acknowledged, is <piite evident, ami it is through such valuable books as “The Cosmic Procession “ that the reading public are brought into cognisance of laws which though ever existent have not been ever patent, Mrs Swincy has focussed and propounded these laws, and she has accomplished her task by a formidable array of substantiated tacts, and lias deduced therefrom —by inexorable logic certain valuable lessons and conclusions.”
