Transference is effected simply by a kindly note from the President of the Cnion the member is leaving; (2) When a member who has already paid her annual subscription is transferred to another Cnion she, of course, does not pay again that year, but should show her receipt when she presents her letter of commendation. “ Mrs N. A. D.” Your letter received. A woman’s paper is surely the place where questions that bear on the very life of the race may be discussed. Neither Revelation nor tlie cause n; purity have aught to fear from the findings of science. Allarc in truest harmony. Happily, there is now a movement in the direction of giving to our school children instruction in tin* principles and laws which govern all life, from the plant to the human. When every boy and girl is so taught the standard of morality will he immeasurably higher than at present.
