The fifth annual report of the Women’s Institute is to hand, and shows that a most interesting and helpful programme of work has been carried out. The object of the Institute is to be a “ meeting place for workers, and a centre of information.” “ The Institute aims at being a link l>etween workers, not only in London, but in various parts of the world.” “As*! colonial members can comparatively rarely avail themselves of the Institute’s lectures and debates,” special advantages are offered to them, viz.,(i) Membership without entrance fee ; (2) the right to receive all publications of the Institute, free of charge ; (3) four transferable tickets a year for lectures or debates. Annual subscription 10s.
