Separate Polling Booths.
Dear Madam, —With a view to ascertaining the number of women who exercise their privilege of voting, I notice it has been suggested that separate polling booths should be set aside for them. Instead of this I would suggest that they be supplied with voting papers printed on coloured paper, say pink. This would be a mere nominal expense ; they would be easily counted out from among the papers of the men, and thus would easily show to what extent women have embraced this privilege of the franchise. I am, yours truly, Annie Smith. 15, Thompson street, Wellington.
