How tin* flower grows, Nobody known Hu* the life that is hul in the heart of the rose. The bird at* it sings Stretching it* wings, Tells of the life at the heart of all thing*. Freedom and Come from above, VU nature exults in the truth that they prove. Then why should man Do all that he can I o change and degrade <iod’« U*autiful plan ? (lladn>'BM and mirth Would till all the earth, If each soul mould awake to a sense of its worth. Heauty and bloom Would banish all gloom, ff the life that is in us could rise from its tomb. We only can know How all thing* grow, VI on we thrill to the touch of the infinite flow, Stand where thou art Do well thy |>art, Vnd cherish the life that is hid in thy heart. Then shall thy life lie free from strife, Vnd gather the joys with which nature is life. (Had lies* and song, All the day T>ng. Shall reign where is now only sadness and wrong. God kiioweth U-st, How to give rest, And Ltrengthen the hope* He has placed in thy breast.
