At the November monthly meeting correspondence was read from the } uckland Anglican Synod, and also from the Dunedin Presbyterian Synod, relative to resolutions passed

by the Union and submitted to those bodies for consideration. A letter was also read from a Leeston friend relative to starting a Union in that district. Miss Hewson intimated her desire to continue the girls’ sowing class during the summer months, and permission was given to engage a more suitable room in which to carry on the good work. It was reported that the booth on the Show ground had been even more successful than usual.
