INTERCESSIONS.
We ask our readers to pray— 1. For the Day of Intercession that it may be widely observed and the Church filled with the spirit of supplication. 2. For the success of the Mission, of Help, and that the Prayer for it may be earnestly offered m public and private worship. 3. For a deepening of the spiritual life among the clergy and laity, that so the Church's witness to God. may be clean and true 5 . : 4. For a vocation to the Sacred Ministry to men and boys of the Church m New Zealand. 5. For the Maori Mission that the natives m and around Parihaka may be led to renounce Te Whiti-ism and embrace the Faith. ; 6. For our Theological Students that they may be fitted and prepared for whole hearted service m the Ministry. 7. For 'Xmas Day, that the Nativity of our Lord and Saviour, may be observed with hallowed joy and thanksgiving.
