"Every Christian is a missionary, and we are all absolutely committed to the task of breaking down the barriers which men through their ignorance, fear, or pride have set up. "I believe that God is calling us to stand m the gap which exists (between European and Indian Christians) as ministers of Christ's reconciliation. I believe it is true to say that the Church of Jesus Christ, and her missionaries, are the interpreters of one race to the other. The answer to the problem I do~ not know, but we must take seriously the urgency of it, and pray until some kind of understanding and trust is attained. These barriers must be broken down through the love of God. The small, struggling, poor, and persecuted Church m India shines brightly to-day." —The Rev. L.W. Brown
