AMALGAMATION OF PARISHES.
The .amalgamation of the Ormondville Parish has been effected with Takapau. The church at Ormondyille celebrated its diamond jubilee m January last. Arising out of the amalgamation the Rev. F. Middlebrook, _. who has been vicar at Ormondville, has been appointed as assistant curate at Holy Trinity Church, Gisborne.
