The Rev. Canon P. S. Smallfield; of Auckland, recently . completed the sixtieth anniversary of his Ordination. - Epr 22 year's he' was headmaster of St. John's Collegiate School and until it amalgamated with King's College m 1912. Canpn Smallfield is one of the few remaining clergy who knew Bishop Selwyn and when a young man. was present, at His/ Lordships : farewell at Auckland before he returned to Ehg-' , land.
