O Almighty GOD, from Whom all good prayer cometh, and Who poureth out on all who desire it the spirit of grace and supplication, deliver us when we draw night Thee, from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind, that with steadfast thoughts and kindled affections we may worship Thee m spirit and m truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. For all Social Service work in^ the Diocese, that GOD will guide and uphold the matrons and staffs of St. Hilda's and Abbotsford Honles. For our- Maori Mission Workers, that GOD will bless and guide and strengthen them m all their work. For all plans being made for the , Annual Camps of the Bible Class Unions (,both boys' and girls|) that all may be done m accordance with GOD'S Will. ! For the Diocesan Retreat . for Clergy, that it may be a time of rest and refreshment to all who attend; y for the conductor, that he may be inspired and strengthened by the HolyVSpirit. For the doctors, matrons and .nurses of our hospitals, that they may do all their work \in fellowship with Jesus, the Great Physician. For the patients m our hospitals, and , for the clergy who minister to them, that they may ever remember GOD'S Presence with them. For Vincent, our Bishop, and for ' all other chaplains to the forces, that they may have the guidance and comfort of the Holy- Spirit For members of the Church of England Military Affairs Committee, that m all their work they may follow the v guidance of the Holy Spirit. For the work of the National Patriotic Fund, that all Church people will realise their privilege and responsibility of helping with this work. 7
