GIFTS FOR MAORI MISSIONS.

On. Aclvent Sunday the annual Christmas gifts, were brought by the Sunday School scholars of the St. John's Parish (including three schools and Hukarere School), St.' Augustine's and St. Luke's, St. Andrew's, Port Ahuriri, St. Matthew's, Hastings. These were, for distribution by the Maori Mission House workers m the Diocese to their Bible Classes and . Sunday School scholars and m some cases to JV^aori children m riospital. Some of. the. gifts from' Napier were sent, to a few MaorL clergy where there is no mission house and it is known that there is a Sunday School; We know; how much these gifts are appreciated by/the mission house workers, and perhaps will be more sa.this year, ; when there are so many calls on pepple's finance.
