For our Diocesan Schools, that 'God Will pour His grace uppn the principals, staffs, and scholars" of Te Aute College, Hukarere School and Hereworth School. For the Bible Class Unions: Eternal GOD; Who, in Thy gift of ithe Holy .'• Scriptures -dost .speak ;to us as /Creator, Redeemer, l ,and Sanctrfter, give, we' pray Thee, the

spirit of wisdom and understanding to all members of th? Bible Class Unions — especially to the young men and young women of this place — that with diligence and ' reverence they may study Thy Divine Revelation and so become conformed to Thy Holy Will m righteousness of life; through Him Who is Thy Living Word, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. For Vincent our Bishop, and for all other Chaplains to the Forces, that they may have faithfulness and love and the comfort and support of the Holy Spirit. For two Maori priests who have volunteered as combatants, that God will bless them with steadfastness and courage.' For. the members of the Church of England Military Affairs Committee, that m all their work they may follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. For the work of the National Patriotic- Fund, that all Church people may realise their responsibility and willingly support their work. O God Who hast taught us m Thy Holy Word that Thou dost not willingly afflict the children of men; / grant that, m this present time of warfare and distress of nations, .our peQple may know Thy Presence, and obey Thy Will; remove from us arrogance and feebleness; , give us courage and loyalty, tranquillity and* self-control, that we may accomplish that which Thou givest us jto do, and endure that which Thou allowest»us to bear. O Thou Who are the hope of all the ends of the earth and of them that remain m the broad sea, hear us m Thy mercy, for His sake Who was lifted up on the Cross to draw all men unto Him, Jesus Christ our Lord. , * Amen. Grant' O GOD and Father, that our sailors, soldiers/ and airmen may be-' brave m battle, high-hearted m hardships, dauntless m defeat, gentle m victory. Remember those who have trained themselves m peace to help their country m war; and give them ' skill and courage, endurance and self-control, m the work now, given them. We ask it in^.the Name of Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Now O Lord, we beseech"" Thee through Christ our Saviour, to fill our souls with Thyself, to be near us day by day and hour by hour, strengthening us by Thy strength, and guiding us by Thy Hand, till Thou lead us to Thine eternal peace and joy; through the same Jesus Christ. Amen.
