(To the Editor of the Gazette.) Dear Sir, — Will you kindly allow me to correct a slight error m your report of Otane's request for the raising of its missionary quota. I did not say that the raising of £ 294 last year had meant little self-denial; on the contrary I said it had entailed considerable sacrifice, but that certain generous missionary - hearted people felt that even greater sacrifices were possible and that if all our church people would share m the sacrifice we might be able to raise even more this year. — Yours, etc.* R.
