BOARD OF MISSIONS' NOTES.
Quotas for the Present Year.— At the annual meeting of the Board held on 29th July, the Budget for the year Vas fixed at the same figure as for last year, viz., £16,500, but the following words were added:— "But as the amount raised last year was 10 per cent, less than the Budget, a very earnest effort be made this year to have contributions increased by at least 10 per cent." This means that each diocese ,is asked "very earnestly" to raise at least 10 per cent, more than it gave last year.
