DIOCESAN AND GENERAL.
Miss Hall, the head mistress of Hukarere School, is anxious to obtain a copy of the Encyclopedia Britannica for the use of her girls. It may seem a large order, but it is for a good cause. Can anyone help?
The Rev. A. E. Prebble has been appointed Vicar of Pukekohe m the Diocese of Auckland.
The Bishop of Aotearoa is still m hospital at Hastings, but we are glad to know he is making a good recovery.
Readers outeide 'this Diocese, # any, will conclude that nothing happens m any of our Parishes. Other Diocesan papers fill pages with Parish notes, and these are read perhaps more than the rest of the papers. The lack of them m our Diocesan Gazette is really not the fault of the Editor.
Another request comes from the Napier Lodge of the G.F.S. They will be very grateful there for any indoor games that can be spared. Winter evenings need to be filled m, and many readers of the Gazette must be able to do something to supply this need. Gifts should be sent to Miss White, G.F.S. Lodge, 5, Seaview Terrace, Napier.
