INTERCESSIONS.

While the world is perplexed by the vast problems of peace and war, of unemployment arid poverty, of race and class, Christian people should remember that to the mind of Almighty God there are no problems, only solutions. —Bishop of Llandaff. FOR OUR CLERGY. Most merciful Father we beseech Thee to send upon these Thy servants Thy heavenly blessing that they may be clothed with righteousness and that Thy word spoken by them may have such success, that it may never be spoken m vain, that m all their thoughts and words and deeds they may seek Thy glory and the increase of Thy Kingdom. Through Jesus Christ pur Lord. Collect for Sixth Sunday after Trinity. FOR GOOD COURAGE. Grant to us, Thy servants, O Lord, the royalty of inward happiness, and the serenity which comes of living

close to Thee. Daily renew m us the sense of joy, and let the Eternal Spirit of the Father dwell m our souls and bodies, filling every corner of our hearts with light and gladness, so that bearing about with us the infection of a good courage, we may be diff users of light, and may meet all ills and accidents with a gallant and high-hearted happiness, giving Thee thanks always for all things. Thee; that Thou wouldst vouchsafe to bestow upon them true repentance and an earnest desire to serve Thee. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. FOR THE STRENGTHENING OF THE FAITHFUL. We beseech Thee, O Lord, to strengthen and confirm all Thy faithful and to lift them up more and more continually to heavenly desires. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. PRAYER FOR C.E.M.S. Almighty Father, who has called us Thy sons into a fellowship of inter-

cession and enterprise for the building of Thy Kingdom within our country and among the nations, guide and bless, we beseech Thee, all that is designed and done by the Church, of England Men's Society. Inspire and direct all who lead its devotions: and deliberations: give to its members a new vision of Thy power: and grant that they may go forth to fresh ventures of faith and love, of work: and witness, for the bringing of their brother men to the knowledge of Thy saving grace m the fold of Thy Church, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
