THE CHILD OF GOD (sth Edition) "The Sunday School Manual for the Children of the Church." Published by the Wellington Diocesan Sunday School Association. The sth Edition contains the following features: — The Church Catechism, Instructions on Holy Baptism, The Church's Great Days, Two Services for Opening and Closing of Sunday Schools, An Order of Service for Children, Suggested Psalms and Lessons, 42 Special Prayers, Prayers for the Greater Festivals of the Church and other Holy Days, Prayers; for a Family Service, Thanksgivings, Praise, Selected Psalms (pointed for singing), The Canticles (also pointed), 100 Hymns, (mostly from A. & M.), Christmas Carols. 155 Pages. — When first issued in 1926 the Manual contained only 79 pages and 32 HYMNS, and the price was Sixpence. The latest and greatly enlarged edition, embodying improvements suggested by experience and by Sunday School Superintendents, is still published at the same phenomenally low price. Over 26,000 copies of the Manual have already been sold, and every year sees an increase in the sales. Wherever the "Little Green Book" has been introduced no difficulty has been found in getting each pupil to purchase his own copy.
