A WELCOME CHRISTMAS BOX
(To the Editor) May we again through your Gazette convey to the children of the parishes of St. John's and St. Andrew's, Napier, our most grateflul thanks for the beautiful present of toys , which we
have received. The very day our parcel arrived we were expecting 130 children to tea. This was only one of six treats. That night we had the pleasure of having the Bishop of Aotearoa with us. He presented the prizes, explaining to the children to whom they were indebted for the gifts. Three hearty cheers were given for the children of Napier and then three more for Miss Enrad's parish m England which had also remembered us. Next day at Mourea the Rev. Manihera presided. Again the air rang with shouts of warmest appreciation of the kindness ofl the Pakeha children who bad so generously given to help God's work and to rejoice the hearts of their Maori brothers and sisters.
