THE TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.

(By Lt.-Col. W. H. Turton, D.S.O) A book that has reached its twelfth edition and its sixty-fifth thousand scarcely needs further advertisement. But as it is necessary that the ministry of a good work should be extended, we gladly call attention to the above book. It is a clear and simple statement, showing that Christianity is "a reasonable faith." There are many points here and there that will not meet with the universal approval of expert apologists, but then we are not all experts, and the arguments as set forth will help to meet the questionings of the ordinary man, who has but little time to study theology to any extent. Further, this book might very well be placed m the hands of our Bible Class leaders, and Lay Readers, besides other fhoughtful people who are desirous of "giving a reason for the faith that is m them." Our copy is from the publishers, Messrs Wells Gafcfiner, Darton and Co. The nett cost is 2s.
