View; Tli© Key. B. K. BrierW The outstanding feature m this parish last month was the Garden Fet* held at Walfingford on the 7th. of November, m aid of the Churcih. Building iPuml there. It soeins incredible that m the space of a few hour s the sum of £141 oould be raised, but such happened. It was a wonderful effort on the part of those Who organised the fete, and tihe result was just marvellous. Ona can almost se© the root' of the church there now; one naturally sees vision s on such occasions as these. The day was absolutely peijfect, iin spite of the fact tlhat the weather forecast was rain. God was for us, And,., none against us. and we .render to Him"' first, our grateful tShank* I tender, my grateful thanks to all those good people who gave of their time and resources to help forward the effort: I am Quite sure none .wer* disappointed. May the- tinie ; Be very'near when the foundation of the Church at Wallingford will toe laid. Let us make it a part of our daily intercession, that God will prosper our handiwork; there is no greater power m the world than that of prayer ? and if we m the parish make, this work a' matter of prayer, there is not the, slightest doubt that our work and hopes will reach what we so desire ; May all parishioners have a very happy and blessed!
