Diocesan Chapter.

A meeting of the Chapter was held on November 22nd. The Bishop promised to issue a pastoral letter on the subject of missionary contributions. It was reported that £197 had been received towards the Japanese Relief Fund. The Rev. G. T. Castle, M.A., was appointed to visit, examine and report on St. Winifred 's School. The Diocesan Secretary reported that eight children of St.; Hilda's Home were being withdrawn at the end of the year, the surviving' parents being now able to provide fair them. Miss Wilson, daughter of 'the Rev. Gr. D. Wilson/ was appointed as assistant to Miss Waller. Certain members of the Chapter brought up the question of the proposed position of the Abbotsford Home on the site at Waipawa. Mr Gr. C. Williams was appinted to interview! the Rathbone trustees. It was; reported that a section had been bought next to St. Mary's Home to provide an entrance to the Home.
