Holy Trinity, Woodylllt.

Vicar: Rev. G. D. Wilson. Holy Week has come and gone. The Holy Week services were very poorly attended. Good Friday services were quite well attended. The services were Children 9 a.m., the Three Hours noon to 3 p.m., and Evensong at the latter service. The: choir sang the "Story of the Cross" beautifully, by that we mean with real "intention.''' There was no mistaking the tone of deepest devotion at all services. The Easter Day services were wonderful, and by far the most hopeful and glorious thing that has happened m this parish recently. There is no doubt that a deep spiritual movement is afoot m this parish— thank'Gbd for it. There were three celebrations of the Holy Communion at : B a:m., 10 a.m., and -Mattins and Holy Communion .at .3.1, ami. The total number of CqnMGftuniQns - made showed a very dohsijSerable increase on any previous ! Easter. What r is really a surer test of vital religion m the •parish is the fact that the total Com-

munioris niSde during the year ending March 31st, ;1922-—riotwithstand-ing- the fact that mit was reckoned no Easter—exceeded the previous year's total by nearly 50 per cent. The parish, tfianks chiefly to the Ladies' Guild, has provided a gig and hQi'sel- Both are very suitable, as gigs go, lot the work. The Vicar will now be able to visit regularly m the outlying parts of the parish. The Vicar desires to thank the parishioners for their most generous and welcome Easter offerings.
