Hilda's Home. , •■'.■•';' A most successful /Sunday. 1 School picnic was held m the holidays m the grounds of Mrs August Sehaare; the- ladies provided a delicious lunch and several gentlemen worked- energetically^ m superyi^ the sports^' The Vicar thanked the teachers, Misses Schmidj; and. Boyte and; Mr Leeke, for their splendid work dvr 7 ing the year, and three ch«ers were, called for. all tEe. ladies and gentlemen who had given presents and other /-things necessary to make the day such, a happy one. Needless to say the children showed they hid., good lungs. Three cheers were given- also: for, the Vicar. The Sunday .School roll is 56 but friends came too* for there were. 76 children sitting round this country . dining table.
