Butterfleld. t With, the consent of v .the Gnga Onga School Committee and with the kind co-operation of Miss Selby, the head' teacher, and her assistants, a class for religious instruction's being held every Thursday by 'the Jftcar m the Onga Onga school. Pupils from the second standard upwards are .attending' and so far the attendance is exceedingly good. ' Preparations are' being made- for a sale of work, produce, etc.,' . m the Municipal Concert Hall on April 23rd m aid of Church funds. We hope to start a branch of the Girls' Friendly Society m this parish very soon. Mrs Maclean has consented to act president. !— — — j
