Bequest.
The Diocese is indebted to the late Mr W. J. Tabuteau for his- handsome bequests of £500 to St. Mary's Home and of £500 to the Napier branch of the G.F.S. All Churchmen will be pleased and encouraged by such generous gifts and we confidently hope that Mr Tabuteau's excellent example will be followed by many other Churchmen. St. Augustine says, m regard to bequests to Christ: '' Suppose a' man has one son, let him reckon Christ as a second; if two sons, then Christ as a third; if ten, then Christ as an eleventh." •' • •
