We have to report an unusual amount of sickness and . accidents amongst our parishioners and Church workers during the last month. We rejoice to see Miss Greenslade and Miss Howe well on the way to recovery again, and weVextend our deep sympathy to Mr Ash down, who met with a very serious accident, and who, it is feared, will lose the sight of his eye. . . .

The Parish has regretfully to. say good-bye to Miss Howe and r Mrs Smith, who are leaving' the district. We cannot thank. Miss Howe sufficiently for the .good work ..she has done, as Sunday School superintendent m Matawai. . , ..' . .• •

Mrs S,m.ith will he greatly, missed, acted as work secretary, to the Ladies' Guild, for which .she. 'has done much good work. "We thank her.
