A Suggested Form of Intercession.

Let Thy merciful ears 0 Lord, etc. (Trinity x). . , Pray for the whole Catholic Church — her unity — her purity and faithfulness m doctrine, practice and Apostolic fellowship. Use— Prayer for Unity m Accession Service. m particular: For the Orthodox Church of the East — especially that of Eussia, that she may be guided at this time of strife and -confusion into right decisions and the upholding of the truth. For the Church m Jerusalem. (The Anglican Bishop m Jerusalem is urgently requesting our prayers for Christians there m danger of Turkish persecution). For Constantinople that its ancient and venerable Cathedral may be rescued from profanation and restored to Christian use. For the Church of France — that the devotion of her priests and religious orders may be rewarded, by the reestablishment of religion m their beloved country. For the Church m Servia, Belgium, Eoumania and m Mission fields. Especially those ' suffering under German oppression — Uganda. For the Church m the various parts of the British Empire that she may rise to a true conception of her duties and opportunities m this Day of God.
