Last year the Rev. J. G.. MoCormick, Vicar of S. Michael's, Chester Square, London, wanted his Church painted and cleaned. The cost would be £jL2OO. ' A bazaar was suggested and favoured, but not by the" Vicar. He got irito his pulpit and said: "We want We won't have any nonsense about it, or fuss. We'll just have a collection for this purpose next Sunday, and I'll ask you to be good enough to bring up the amount then."
